Pilot in Numbers

Total Floor Area

The pilot covers a total floor area of approximately 2,500 square meters across multiple buildings.

Number of Housing Units

A total of 20 residential units will be renovated using the LEGOFIT approach.

Energy Efficiency Goal

All units aim to become energy-positive through chosen solutions.

Duration of Renovation

The pilot implementation and renovation are expected to be completed over an 18-month timeline.

CO2 Reduction Target

The project targets a reduction of more than 70% in operational carbon emissions per household.

& Diagrams

  • U-Value Window: The U-value of a window indicates how much heat passes through it, measured in W/m²·K.
  • U-Value Roof: The U-value of a roof measures its heat loss rate, in W/m²·K.
  • U-Value Wall: The U-value indicates how much heat a wall loses, measured in W/m².
  • Heat Pump: A heat pump is an HVAC system component that transfers heat from sources like air, ground, or water to provide heating or cooling.
  • PV System: Photovoltaic (PV) panels convert solar radiation into electrical energy using semiconductor materials.
  • EV Charger: An electric vehicle charging station delivers DC or AC to recharge EV batteries.
